Play, Learn, Grow
Empowering young players through teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for football in Camden.

London Grassroots Sports CIC was established from the founding work done by Pro Touch SA CIC in 2004.
In May 2025 London Grassroots Sports CIC was officially registered as a community-driven organisation dedicated to empowering young people through sport, with a particular focus on the inclusive football leagues, tournaments, and festivals.
Operating across various venues like Coram’s Fields, Market Road, Burgess Park Football Pitches, Paddington Recreation Ground. The organisation brings together over 2,000 children and young people aged 7–16 from all backgrounds. We work with 40+ local grassroots clubs and partners to offer safe, structured, and inclusive football opportunities every weekend.

Koysor Abdul grew up playing football in Calthorpe and Coram's Fields in King’s Cross, where his natural talent quickly stood out. At just 12 years old, he was signed by Leyton Orient FC’s Centre of Excellence, before moving on to Charlton Athletic’s Academy at U14 level, then a Premier League club. After several years in elite football, Koysor chose to follow his growing passion for technology.
Now a successful tech entrepreneur, Koysor runs his own web design company and continues to stay connected to his roots. One of his proudest projects is designing the London Grassroots Sports website—a platform that reflects his personal journey and commitment to giving back to the community that shaped him.
For over two decades, Naz Deen has dedicated his career to helping young people and communities thrive through sport. His journey has taken him from schools and grassroots programmes to leading youth and sports initiatives across London, always with one clear mission: to use sport as a force for social change.
In his role as Head of Youth and Sport at a central London children’s charity, Naz tackles some of the toughest challenges young people face today — from racism and inequality to bullying, youth violence, trauma, and mental health struggles. He has also worked tirelessly to address the impact of poverty, obesity, and gentrification on local communities, using sport as a bridge to build confidence, connection, and opportunity.
Naz’s impact extends far beyond the UK. As an International Tour Leader with the Tag Rugby Trust, he has led expeditions to Zambia, Namibia, and Zimbabwe, where disadvantaged young people from the UK have volunteered in impoverished communities, using the power of sport to inspire hope and change.
A proud graduate of the Sporting Equals LeaderBoard Academy, Naz brings both expertise and lived experience to his work — along with an unwavering passion for creating pathways for every individual to enjoy, grow, and succeed through sport.
